1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). The Lord told me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with the Holy Spirit. That's why sometimes when the Holy Spirit reminds us to do something and we do not do, when He warns us not to do something and we intentionally do that, the result is to walk in step with the wicked!
2. Way of Jesus
Blessed is the one who does not stand in the way that sinners take. Psalm 1:1b
4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The Lord told me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with the Holy Spirit so that we cannot be with Jesus and to walk with Jesus, Jesus is the Way! The consequence is that we stand in the way that sinners take!
3. Way of Abba Father
Blessed is the one who does not sit in the company of mockers. Psalm 1:1c
20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

The Lord told me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with the Holy Spirit so that we cannot be with Jesus and that we cannot sit with Abba in the Heavenly banquet because we sit with the wicked!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for giving us this New Year's gift. Help us and protect us that Satan cannot be able to steal this gift from us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
