1. 求聖靈光照，使你知罪，願意認罪悔改
"親愛的聖靈, 求你光照我心靈的深處, 使我看見我的罪, 我和主耶穌的阻隔,
求你幫助, 奉主耶穌基督名求。阿們。"
2. 透過聖靈的工作, 安靜一刻, 省察自己, 之後祈禱:
「親愛的主耶穌，感謝你為我的罪釘死在十字架上，我願意在你面前承認我的罪（凡聖靈光照到的，請逐一說出），求你用你的寶血赦免我的罪，我願意打開心門讓你作我的救主，求你救贖我，我願意一生跟隨你讓你作我生命的主，求你帶領我。聖靈，求你充滿我，使我得著恩賜及力量去侍奉主、見證主，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。」

羅馬書12:1-2是我生命中其中一次最重要的改變!
記得那時是1982年年初，我在讀羅馬書12章靈修的時候，忽然我在讀羅馬書12:1-2之時，"心意更新"這四個字好像放大了從聖經跳出來擺在我面前!
我清楚聽到主耶穌對我說: "你就係唔肯心意更新!"
幾個月後主呼召我去讀神學，這四十二年來主一直帶領我從"心意更新"到"活像基督"的心路歷程中!
今天聖靈啟迪我，給我一個新的领受，原來如果我們真的將自己的身體獻上當作活祭，每天死去主耶穌不能作主作王的阻隔，自然會愈來愈明白主的意思，而羅馬書12:3-20的人性最不可能發生的性格改變便會自然發生，因為神的 "善 Good"會自然在你生命流露出來，结果你便能以善勝惡!
倒轉來看，如果你不能以善勝惡，那麼心意更新，活像基督可能没有發生!
