Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week then prayerfully remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). The Lord said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: ..." Leviticus 21: 1

As you come to him, the living Stone - rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him - you also like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2: 4-5

What I got from Jesus today is: None of my business!

Lots of time when we read a chapter like this in the Bible about what priests should do we can make an excuse that that is none of our business. But, not so. Peter told us very well that when Jesus came we all become priests serving Him and honoring His holy name.

John Stott in his daily thought today gives us an important message:

697. Every believer a bishop?
It is a mistake to suppose that God commits the oversight
of his people to ministers only, and that the laity have no
share in it. Hebrews 12:15 contains the exhortation: 'see
to it that no-one fails to obtain the grace of God'. The
words 'see to it' translate *episkopountes*. This is a
general exhortation to members of the local church to
accept spiritual responsibility for each other and to care
for each other. Moulton and Milligan quote papyrus
examples of the use of the verb as a common salutation at
the end of letters, as we might say 'look after yourself'
or 'look after so and so'. In this sense ... every
believer is a bishop also!

If we understand we are priests and bishops then there will be more Christians rise up to lesser the burden of priests and bishops and that God's Kingdom can be enhanced in a mighty way because we are willing to be holy and mighty to join in God's mighty army to do God's ministry!

Yes, you can be holy and mighty because we are sons and daughters of God!

Remember, bishops and priests role are not none of your business, but your business too!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to understand and live out our life as a priest and bishop that in holiness and in power we can join in your army to extend your mighty Kingdom. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
