You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

You may ask, "What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?" I will send you such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years. While you plant during the eighth year, you will eat from the old crop and will continue to eat from it until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.

Leviticus 25: 20 - 22



What I got from Jesus today is: Rest one year, give you three years?

Last Sunday a parishioner told me, "Wow! God really has His own way to bless our offering!" This lady and her husband has given far more than tithing for many years and they are being blessed by the Lord in a wonderful way.

We'll never know how blessed we can be until we really take our first step to trust Him!

Here in this chapter God told them to let the land rest in the seventh year and He would give them enough for three years on the sixth year. Wow! That was a good deal! But, according to history, the Israelites never believed in God's word and they never give rest to the land until they lost their nation to the Babylonians. As recorded in 2 Chronicles 36: 21, "The land enjoyed its sabbath rests; all the time of its desolation it rested, until the seventy years were completed in fulfillment of the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah." You know what happened? As they disobeyed God's command to let the land rest God let the land to rest for 70 years until the Israelites could go back to Jerusalem in Ezra's time!

Why can't we really and truly trust our Lord so that we are being blessed rather then being cursed?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to have the faith to do those things you command us to do even we do not think they are possible. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
