「親愛的主耶穌，感謝你為我的罪釘死在十字架上，我願意在你面前承認我的罪（凡聖靈光照到的，請逐一說出），求你用你的寶血赦免我的罪，我願意打開心門讓你作我的救主，求你救贖我，我願意一生跟隨你讓你作我生命的主，求你帶領我。聖靈，求你充滿我，使我得著恩賜及力量去事奉主、見證主。奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。」

33 這 事 以 後 ， 耶 羅 波 安 仍 不 離 開 他 的 惡 道 ， 將 凡 民 立 為 邱 壇 的 祭 司 ； 凡 願 意 的 ， 他 都 分 別 為 聖 ， 立 為 邱 壇 的 祭 司 。34 這 事 叫 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 陷 在 罪 裡 ， 甚 至 他 的 家 從 地 上 除 滅 了 。

6 他 剛 進 門 ， 亞 希 雅 聽 見 他 腳 步 的 響 聲 ， 就 說 ： 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 ， 進 來 罷 ！ 你 為 何 裝 作 別 的 婦 人 呢 ？ 我 奉 差 遣 將 凶 事 告 訴 你 。
7 你 回 去 告 訴 耶 羅 波 安 說 ： 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 說 ： 我 從 民 中 將 你 高 舉 ， 立 你 作 我 民 以 色 列 的 君 ，
8 將 國 從 大 衛 家 奪 回 賜 給 你 ； 你 卻 不 效 法 我 僕 人 大 衛 ， 遵 守 我 的 誡 命 ， 一 心 順 從 我 ， 行 我 眼 中 看 為 正 的 事 。
9 你 竟 行 惡 ， 比 那 在 你 以 先 的 更 甚 ， 為 自 己 立 了 別 神 ， 鑄 了 偶 像 ， 惹 我 發 怒 ， 將 我 丟 在 背 後 。
10 因 此 ， 我 必 使 災 禍 臨 到 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 ， 將 屬 耶 羅 波 安 的 男 丁 ， 無 論 困 住 的 、 自 由 的 都 從 以 色 列 中 剪 除 ， 必 除 盡 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 ， 如 人 除 盡 糞 土 一 般 。
11 凡 屬 耶 羅 波 安 的 人 ， 死 在 城 中 的 必 被 狗 吃 ， 死 在 田 野 的 必 被 空 中 的 鳥 吃 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
12 所 以 你 起 身 回 家 去 罷 ！ 你 的 腳 一 進 城 ， 你 兒 子 就 必 死 了 。
13 以 色 列 眾 人 必 為 他 哀 哭 ， 將 他 葬 埋 。 凡 屬 耶 羅 波 安 的 人 ， 惟 有 他 得 入 墳 墓 ； 因 為 在 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 中 ， 只 有 他 向 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 顯 出 善 行 。
14 耶 和 華 必 另 立 一 王 治 理 以 色 列 。 到 了 日 期 ， 他 必 剪 除 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 ； 那 日 期 已 經 到 了 。
15 耶 和 華 必 擊 打 以 色 列 人 ， 使 他 們 搖 動 ， 像 水 中 的 蘆 葦 一 般 ； 又 將 他 們 從 耶 和 華 賜 給 他 們 列 祖 的 美 地 上 拔 出 來 ， 分 散 在 大 河 那 邊 ； 因 為 他 們 做 木 偶 ， 惹 耶 和 華 發 怒 。

17 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 起 身 回 去 ， 到 了 得 撒 ， 剛 到 門 檻 ， 兒 子 就 死 了 。
18 以 色 列 眾 人 將 他 葬 埋 ， 為 他 哀 哭 ， 正 如 耶 和 華 藉 他 僕 人 先 知 亞 希 雅 所 說 的 話 。
19 耶 羅 波 安 其 餘 的 事 ， 他 怎 樣 爭 戰 ， 怎 樣 作 王 ， 都 寫 在 以 色 列 諸 王 記 上 。
20 耶 羅 波 安 作 王 二 十 二 年 ， 就 與 他 列 祖 同 睡 。 他 兒 子 拿 答 接 續 他 作 王 。

Another terrible happening after the Bible says Jeroboam did not repent or change his way leading the Israelites to worship other gods. What would God do when people cross His bottom line?

It may seem astonishing that Jeroboam should be seen as a worse sinner than anyone before him, but he has institutionalized alien worship in Ephraim, and neither God nor prophet can see him as someone who actually worships Yahweh. People can think they are worshiping God but be offering worship that is so alien to who God is that they aren't worshiping God at all. In addition, he has erected Asherah columns, that is, objects that were used in connection with the worship of the Canaanite goddess of that name. His leadership is ultimately going to mean disaster for his people.

Can you imagine that? You think that you have been worshipping God for a long time but in fact, in God's eyes you have been worshipping other gods, idols like money, power, sex, superstitious things in your home and office, why of following superstitious way of worldly lifestyle, famous name brands and so many other things that you have been spending lots of your time, money and health on, but you have spent just a little time with God each day. And, you still think that you have been worshipping God! You still think that Jesus is your Lord and King! How so!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Open our eyes to see who and what we have been worshipping, whether we have been worshipping you or other gods. If we have been worshipping other gods, lead us to repent and ask for Jesus' forgiveness and His blood to cleanse us so that we can truly worship you each day as our Saviour, Lord and King. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
