1. 求聖靈在你生命中工作
"親愛的聖靈, 求你光照我心靈的深處, 使我看見我的罪, 我和主耶穌的阻隔,
求你幫助, 奉主耶穌基督名求。阿們。"
2. 透過聖靈的工作, 安靜一刻, 省察自己, 之後祈禱:
「親愛的主耶穌，感謝你為我的罪釘死在十字架上，我願意在你面前承認我的罪（凡聖靈光照到的，請逐一說出），求你用你的寶血赦免我的罪，我願意打開心門讓你作我的救主，求你救贖我，我願意一生跟隨你讓你作我生命的主，求你帶領我。聖靈，求你充滿我，使我得著恩賜及力量去事奉主、見證主。奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。」

6 耶 戶 又 給 他 們 寫 信 說 ： 你 們 若 歸 順 我 ， 聽 從 我 的 話 ， 明 日 這 時 候 ， 要 將 你 們 主 人 眾 子 的 首 級 帶 到 耶 斯 列 來 見 我 。 那 時 王 的 兒 子 七 十 人 都 住 在 教 養 他 們 那 城 中 的 尊 貴 人 家 裡 。
7 信 一 到 ， 他 們 就 把 王 的 七 十 個 兒 子 殺 了 ， 將 首 級 裝 在 筐 裡 ， 送 到 在 耶 斯 列 的 耶 戶 那 裡 。
8 有 使 者 來 告 訴 耶 戶 說 ： 他 們 將 王 眾 子 的 首 級 送 來 了 。 耶 戶 說 ： 將 首 級 在 城 門 口 堆 作 兩 堆 ， 擱 到 明 日 。
9 次 日 早 晨 ， 耶 戶 出 來 ， 站 著 對 眾 民 說 ： 你 們 都 是 公 義 的 ， 我 背 叛 我 主 人 ， 將 他 殺 了 ； 這 些 人 卻 是 誰 殺 的 呢 ？
10 由 此 可 知 ， 耶 和 華 指 著 亞 哈 家 所 說 的 話 一 句 沒 有 落 空 ， 因 為 耶 和 華 藉 他 僕 人 以 利 亞 所 說 的 話 都 成 就 了 。
23 耶 戶 和 利 甲 的 兒 子 約 拿 達 進 了 巴 力 廟 ， 對 拜 巴 力 的 人 說 ： 你 們 察 看 察 看 ， 在 你 們 這 裡 不 可 有 耶 和 華 的 僕 人 ， 只 可 容 留 拜 巴 力 的 人 。
24 耶 戶 和 約 拿 達 進 去 ， 獻 平 安 祭 和 燔 祭 。 耶 戶 先 安 排 八 十 人 在 廟 外 ， 吩 咐 說 ： 我 將 這 些 人 交 在 你 們 手 中 ， 若 有 一 人 脫 逃 ， 誰 放 的 必 叫 他 償 命 ！
25 耶 戶 獻 完 了 燔 祭 ， 就 出 來 吩 咐 護 衛 兵 和 眾 軍 長 說 ： 你 們 進 去 殺 他 們 ， 不 容 一 人 出 來 ！ 護 衛 兵 和 軍 長 就 用 刀 殺 他 們 ， 將 屍 首 拋 出 去 ， 便 到 巴 力 廟 的 城 去 了 ，
26 將 巴 力 廟 中 的 柱 像 都 拿 出 來 燒 了 ；
27 毀 壞 了 巴 力 柱 像 ， 拆 毀 了 巴 力 廟 作 為 廁 所 ， 直 到 今 日 。
28 這 樣 ， 耶 戶 在 以 色 列 中 滅 了 巴 力 。

Ahab was such a evil king that even in the time of powerful prophets such as Elijah and Elisha, Ahab was still in power. What would you think if you were Elijah and Elisha? Do you think Elijah and Elisha prayed for Ahab to confess his sins and change? I think so. That may be the reasons that Ahab got several chances to change but in the end, his sins and stubbornness cause the lives of his whole family.
You never know how many chances God gives to someone until you see how God's punishment comes!

God becomes deeply involved in events that encourage people to do things to realize their own ambitions and bring death and destruction to other people when God knows that death and destruction are indeed the appropriate punishment for these people…

Lots of time, we are sad and in bitterness because we think that God does nothing to punish those bad guys. What we do not know is that God will give as much time He will give to you, to me and to those bad guys until God decides that is it. When God acts, no one can reverse His action!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to live in your own standard and be willing to serve you and your people so that we won't be under your final punishment. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
