DAY 2 (2018) - Can't Hear God's Voice? Can't Feel His Presence? (Please click here for English podcast)

Silence

1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence

2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile

2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening

The message I got today from the Lord is quite shocking!

Do you know after Adam and Eve sinned and being kicked out of the Garden of Eden, and after Cain killed Abel, they still could be able to see the face of God and to hear the voice of God?

Until when did Cain could not be able to see God and be able to listen to God's voice? According to Genesis 4: 13-14, "Cain said to the Lord, "My punishment is more than I can bear. Today you are driving me from the land , and I will be hidden from your presence."

Wow! Until Cain was not willing to repent of his sin and the presence of God left him!

There are quite a number of Christians says that they cannot feel the presence of God and cannot be able to listen to God's voice. Are you one of them?

Today God gives you an invitation to go back to God's Kingdom to be able to see Him, hear Him, follow Him and obey His command and to enjoy His presence everyday. Are you willing to accept this invitation?

This is the best way to kick out depression. Yes, Time with Abba, depression out!

Dear Abba Father,

Help us to be able to know what are those things you want us to do and we do not do, what are those things you do not want us to do and we do. Lead us to repent of our sins so that we are able to see you, enjoy your daily presence and be able to listen to your voice and obey your command. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:

1. Do you have a problem to feel God's presence and to hear God's voice? Why?

2. How can today's message help you to be able to feel God's presence and to hear His voice?

3. What have you received from Jesus today?
