Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ is "No more excuse!".
4. I can't because I am slow of speech and tongue
God told Moses that He will help Moses and Aaron to speak and teach the what to say.
5. Not me, send other people
God was "angry"! I feel that God was thinking, "That's enough excuses! No more excuse!" Then God authorized Moses and Aaron to do it, to be able to perfume signs and wonders!
The key word to me is still like yesterday: I will be with you.
Today's Psalm gives me that key in a deeper sense: "keep me as the apple of your eye". It is the closeness with God in His presence that we do not need any excuse.
Today's Matthew 18 is the method of many Christians and churches to deal with problems. So, when hear about this theory, "Follow Matthew 18. You need to get the person to talk. And if he doesn't listen, bring two to three people. If that still doesn't work, then bring the Council, the Church elders. And, if he doesn't listen to all that, kick him out.
I don't think that's what Jesus really means. Why? Because the passage is from verses 15 to 20, not just from verses 15 to 18. What Jesus means really to me today is that when there is a problem between two people then we need to have people to pray, we need that two people to pray, and when we are willing to pray, God will be with us and there won't be any excuse to be angry or to reject other people. It is the distant with God decides everything. It is prayer to draw everyone to God and to each others.
God invited Moses to enter into that closest distant as he can as someone to be able to see someone's pupil of the eyes. With that closeness to God, with that praying and praying and praying, how can we have excuses not to do the thing God wants us to do and not to do the thing God wants us not to do just as Moses had not circumcised his son!
We can't do God's work if we do not obey God's command. Moses needed to circumcise his son and he did not.
We need to circumcise our hearts so that we are able to do God's work!
Reflect on these questions:
Today we continue with Moses excuses:
3. They won't believe me!
Moses wanted God's proof of His power. And, God gave Moses power to perform signs and wonders after He demonstrated His power. God said those showing forth of power should be able to make Israelites and Egyptians to believe in Moses.4. I can't because I am slow of speech and tongue

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me not to make any excuse any more not to do those things you ask us to do and to do those things you forbid us to do. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of excuses do you have against God's invitation and commands?
2. How can you stop to make those excuses?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
