Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's Daniel chapter 11 is being called the most detailed and accurate prophecy!
Daniel received this prophecy a few years before he died, that was in 535BC. All he prophesied happened within the period of 50 to 500 years after he died, including the Persian King Xerxes(548-464BC), then Alexander the Great, then his four generals and their four kingdoms, Egypt King of South and Syria King of North(246-203BC), then the Maccabees and then the Roman Empire. Also, Daniel the second coming of Christ and then the coming of the King of North and King of South - World War 3! And, the guess of King of South might be a Muslim United Kingdom in later time!
Wow! What should we do?
Today's two passages are the way out:
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
What we need is first to be born again, and then to be led by the Holy Spirit each day to know our sins, confess our sins, repent, change, to be purify by the fire of the Holy Spirit and being made spotless. Then we need to be refined through many crisis and trials, and then believe and experience today's 1 John's message:
2. 1 John 4:16-19
16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
What we need to to be "refined in God's perfect love" in any kind of situation so that we can be refined as pure gold!
Reflect on these questions:
My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "Refined in God's Perfect Love"
Today's four passages give us a very shocking but encouraging message. It leads us to know that God is always in control in the past few thousands years through many kings and kingdoms. It is like what it says in today's Psalm 135:8-14, everything is in God's total control and in His appointed time, even the most powerful king would vanish and "no one will help him (Daniel 11:45)".

Today's two passages are the way out:
1. Daniel 12:9-13
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

Then we need to be refined through many crisis and trials, and then believe and experience today's 1 John's message:
2. 1 John 4:16-19
16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 We love because he first loved us.
What we need to to be "refined in God's perfect love" in any kind of situation so that we can be refined as pure gold!
Dear Lord Jesus,
May you refine us in your perfect love so that we can be refined as pure gold in this changing world. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
1. How do you feel after you learn of the coming big trial? frightened?
2. How can you prepare yourself to be refined in God's perfect love?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
Praise and Thanksgiving
