Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
Can you believe that?!
Yesterday's passage shows us how Ahab grasped his last chance and escaped from God's destruction. Today's passage shows us the deadly consequence of pride and foolishness!
Same warning happened to Ahab, but this time he did not listen to Micaiah the prophet, he did not repent and fast as last time. Why?
I think he thought God was buffering because God said he was going to die and he did not die! This time he rejected God's warning and God planned to kill him in a very special way. God put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all those prophets of Ahab!
You may have a question: How could God do that?
See how today's Psalm tells us that God is the One "who alone does great wonders." You can consider today's happening up in heaven is one of God's great wonders!
So, today's Acts 13:40-41 gives us the final warning not to reject God's warning: "Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:
Do you believe God would do that? What is your respond and prayer to God now?
2. What could Ahab do to avoid being killed?
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "Rejected the last chance, Ahab being killed ".

wonder and perish,
for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.;"
Do you believe God would do that? What is your respond and prayer to God now?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to reject your warning so that we may live. Lead us to help more people to learn today's important lesson. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. How could Ahab know that is his last chance and warning? How can you have a right attitude and action to God's warning?
2. What could Ahab do to avoid being killed?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
