Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
Let us praise the Lord:
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "Do you consider being with Jesus your highest joy?"
Today's Psalm 137:6 gives me the message from the Lord and to all of you. How sad it is that the Israelites lost their kingdom and everything, being destroyed by Babylon. Why? Because they did not listen and obey! Because of their hardened hearts and their rebellious action against God, leaving God and worshipping other gods!
See how the woman in 2 Kings 4:30 told Elisha, "I will not leave you."
See how Elisha told his master Elijah two time in 2 Kings 2: 4 and 2:6, "I will not leave you."
When we do not consider being with Jesus as our highest joy, everything will change and then collapsed. Do you believe that?
Now, if we can live out that, then what described in Acts 15: 13 - 21 will happen to us. That is actually Psalm 23:3 in reality "He refreshed my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake."
Yes, we'll start to enjoy and do everything for Jesus Name's sake!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to live out each day to consider being with you as our highest joy and that we'll never leave you so that we can enjoy and do everything for your name's sake. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What do you consider as your highest joy recently?
2. How are you going to make the first step to consider being with Jesus as your highest joy ?
2. How are you going to make the first step to consider being with Jesus as your highest joy ?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
