Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "How to change from against sound judgment to welcome sound judgment"
Today's 2 Kings passage seems the second part of yesterday's title and message: "Don't against sound judgment". We can see that because of the pride of King Amaziah not listening to King Jehoash, he was defeated, humiliated and then being killed! Terrible!
That's what today's Proverbs describes how fools will suffer and it did happen to King Amaziah!
So, how to change from against sound judgment to welcome should judgment? I think the answer is in today's Acts.
Most people would feel being offended if they are being asked the same question Paul asked. But, those people in today's Acts welcome what Paul said and being filled by the Holy Spirit and received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
You need the Holy Spirit so that you can change from against should judgment to welcome should judgment. Do you believe that?

Dear Holy Spirit,
Come and fill us so that we can be able to change from against sound judgment to welcome should judgment. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Does King Amaziah's downfall gives you any inspiration?
2. What is your next step to have that kind of character change, from against sound judgment to welcome sound judgment?
2. What is your next step to have that kind of character change, from against sound judgment to welcome sound judgment?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
