Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "Sometimes God makes you no way out in order that you may walk in His paths "
Do you believe that?
Today's three passages give us a fact that God sometimes have to do this in order to make you to have a U-turn from walking your own way to His way!
1. From no way out to God's appointed time to rebuild you in His own way
Psalm 102: 13 and 16.
As we learned yesterday, Psalm 102: 1-11 shows us the most difficult and depressed time of the Psalmist, a no way out situation. Then we got some light in today's passage of God's promise that in His appointed time He will rebuild.
2. Why God allows His own children to be in a no way out situation?
Isaiah 1:2-4, 9-11
From these verses, we can clearly see it is us, God's children choose to "spurn and turn our backs on God".
If not for God's mercy, we would be destroyed as Sodom and Gomorrah!
3. God makes you no way out so that you may walk in His paths
Isaiah 2:2-5
God makes you no way out in order to purge and purify you that you will become the City of righteousness and the Faithful City and that you may walk in His paths.
4. Receive Divine power to demolish strong holds
2 Corinthians 10:3-7
This world is trying all its best to pull us into darkness. We need to receive Divine power to demolish strong holds.
You need to know what is strong holds, those are all kinds of arguments to blind us against the knowledge of God, that we cannot have relationship with God and to listen and obey to God. Do not be religious people anymore!! We have to be rescued by God's servants back to God's Kingdom and that if we are being rescued, then we take part in rescuing those hostages back to God's Kingdom!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to be able to see the way out and be willing to make the first step towards the way out. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Have you experienced God's way of making you no way out? What have you experienced? How did that or those experiences help you to walk in God's way and not your own way?
2. What is your plan to make the first step towards the way out, or how do you help more people to experience that?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
Praise and Thanksgiving
