Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

 My Listening
    The topic I received from Jesus is: "An Instrument becomes the user! "

    Today's message consists of three points.

         1. God gives you an assigned place, set a boundary : When we ignore God's assigned place and cross our assigned boundary, we will be in big trouble
     Read how today's Isaiah tell us, Psalm 104:8-9:

they flowed over the mountains,
    they went down into the valleys,
    to the place you assigned for them.
         9 You set a boundary they cannot cross;
    never again will they cover the earth.

      2. Satan crossed his boundary and want to be the same as God:
        When Satan as an angel and crossed his boundary wanting to be the same as God or higher than God, he become a devil and soon be destroyed totally.
             Please read Isaiah 14:12-15.

              12
How you have fallen from heaven,
    morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
    you who once laid low the nations!
             13         You said in your heart,
        “I will ascend to the heavens;
       I will raise my throne
       above the stars of God;
      I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
       on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.[b]
               14          I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
      I will make myself like the Most High.”
              15        But you are brought down to the realm of the dead,
       to the depths of the pit.

       3. Don't fail God's test like how Satan failed his test
           You need to be with Jesus each day so that you can pass the test and stand firm for all tests so that "you may be fully restored" and to "strive for full restoration"
               Read 2 Corinthians 13: 5-6, 9-11

         Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test.
We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored. 10 This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.
 11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

          May you pass your daily test!

     Dear Lord Jesus,
     Help us to be able to be with you so that we can pass our daily test . In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you think sometimes you you fail your daily test?

    2. How can you pass your daily test and not follow Satan's path to fail eternally?

      3. What have you received from Jesus today?

    Praise and Thanksgiving
Let's give thanks for God with us. Let us praise Him:
