The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Exodus 33: 14
What I got from Jesus today is: How to have His Presence?
Jesus gave me an answer to this very important question:
1. Never to be stiff-necked. (vv. 3, 5)
2. Drive out those obstacles in your life that you can't enter into His promise land. (v. 2-3)
3. Can speak to the Lord face to face like a good friend. (v. 11)
4. Need to plead for His Presence. (v. 14)
In reality, we as human being always do things in a reverse way.
1. We are stiff-necked people and yet we do not know!
2. We do not have the willingness or courage to drive out those obstacles in our lives so we can't enter into His promise land.
3. Lots of Christians do not have an intimate personal relationship with God.
4. Lots of Christians do not feel the need to plead for God's Presence thinking that they can handle things themselves.
So, do you have His Presence now?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for your presence! Help us to know that without your Presence we cannot do your Kingdom work. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
