So all the skilled craftsmen who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left their work and said to Moses, "The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done." Exodus 36: 4-5
What I got from Jesus today is: A momentum of offering!
It's not easy to create a momentum of offering. Here in this chapter is one of the best example in human history of how a momentum of offering was created. What I heard from Jesus today is this:
1. Received a command from God
All Israelites believed that that was a command from God to offer what they had and their skills.
2. Willing to offer what they had
The willingness to offer in unity create a never before momentum of resource.
3. Willing to offer their skills to do
The willingness to offer their skills create a never before momentum of manpower.
Are you willing to experience such momentum to happen in your home church?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to offer what we have to take part in creating a momentum of offering. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
