When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. Exodus 34: 29
The Lord said to Moses, "Tell Aaron and his sons, 'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:
"'"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."'
Numbers 6: 22 - 26
What I got from Jesus today is: Jesus makes your face shine!
Moses face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. God told Moses to tell Aaron and his sons to bless people using that famous priestly blessing of how the Lord makes his face shine upon us.
How close could that be for someone's light on his face to shine on you. I think not more than one feet away. Wow! So the Lord is talking about how He would like us to be so close to Him that His light can shine on us! Well, I can identify that kind of light when someone is close to Jesus. Do you? And I can identify that kind darkness when someone is close to the Deceiver.
Jesus makes your face shine! Let's try our best to be close to Him that our face will be radiant because we have spoken and be with Jesus!
Dear Lord Jesus,
We want to be close to you Lord. Let your light shine upon us that our faces can be radiant because we are willing to be with you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
