2. 透過聖靈的工作, 安靜一刻, 省察自己, 之後祈禱:
「親愛的主耶穌，感謝你為我的罪釘死在十字架上，我願意在你面前承認我的罪（凡聖靈光照到的，請逐一說出），求你用你的寶血赦免我的罪，我願意打開心門讓你作我的救主，求你救贖我，我願意一生跟隨你讓你作我生命的主，求你帶領我。聖靈，求你充滿我，使我得著恩賜及力量去事奉主、見證主。奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。」

I am not those people to promote Prosperity Gospel. But, today's passage tells us in a very clear way that if we know how to count the blessings of God and are willing to keep and do the Word of God, then we will prosper in all that we do. Do you believe? Do you agree?

How stupid can you get? The answer with respect to all of us is that we can get pretty stupid. You can know the sensible and right thing to do, and be committed to it, yet go and do the opposite.
Deuteronomy knows that Israel's life is characterized by such a tension. Boldly, it here starts from the fact that "God has not given you a mind to acknowledge or eyes to see or ears to listen." We know that is true from the story so far in the Torah. From the perspective of people reading Deuteronomy seven centuries after Moses' day, it is even more self-evident.

It is so easy to be stupid, knowing well that God gives us a choice to have blessings or cursing, to prosper or to wither. But, lots of people choose cursing and to wither. Why? I think what we need to do first is to ask God to give us a heart to understand, eyes to see and ears to hear. That's how I have been enjoying and trying hard each day to write and record this blog/podcast and to copy the Bible. That is a simple and deep way of building up our relationship with God so that we know what ought to do and what ought not to do, so that we can prosper and not wither.
