約 西 亞 登 基 的 時 候 年 八 歲 ， 在 耶 路 撒 冷 作 王 三 十 一 年 。 他 母 親 名 叫 耶 底 大 ， 是 波 斯 加 人 亞 大 雅 的 女 兒 。
2 約 西 亞 行 耶 和 華 眼 中 看 為 正 的 事 ， 行 他 祖 大 衛 一 切 所 行 的 ， 不 偏 左 右 。
3 約 西 亞 王 十 八 年 ， 王 差 遣 米 書 蘭 的 孫 子 、 亞 薩 利 的 兒 子 ─ 書 記 沙 番 上 耶 和 華 殿 去 ， 吩 咐 他 說 ：
4 你 去 見 大 祭 司 希 勒 家 ， 使 他 將 奉 到 耶 和 華 殿 的 銀 子 ， 就 是 守 門 的 從 民 中 收 聚 的 銀 子 ， 數 算 數 算 ，
5 交 給 耶 和 華 殿 裡 辦 事 的 人 ， 使 他 們 轉 交 耶 和 華 殿 裡 做 工 的 人 ， 好 修 理 殿 的 破 壞 之 處 ，

If your grandfather a sinful man, and you father also a sinful man, do you think you would be just like them? Do you think what Exodus 20:5 "You shall not bow down to the idols or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me…" would happen in you?
I think the answer is YES, and what I have seen and what I have experienced is a YES too!
So, to be a good King and did what is right in the eyes of the Lord and walked in all the ways of his great-great-great-…grandfather David, not turning aside to the right or to the left is almost not possible!
What is King Josiah's first step to show that the sins of two generations could be cut off?
I think King Josiah started with his heart turning to the glory of God's temple. There was no one to take care of God's temple yet there was money that they collected and no one took the money to repair God's temple!
Is this a small act? Yes, start with a small act towards God and then God will show him the next step.
What is your small act towards God so that you can receive God's great act to renew your life and beyond?
