1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening

The topic I received from Jesus is: "How do you know you are out of captivity?"

Wow! Today I have a very clear picture from our Lord Jesus Christ to you and if you follow this check-up list, then you should be able to know that you are out of captivity. But, be careful, the Devil will try all his best to put you back into that prison and back to captivity. So, it is a daily challenge and daily relationship with our Lord to follow Jesus as your Saviour and Lord of life!

1. Return to the Lord - 2 Chronicles 30:6-9
You have to ask the Holy Spirit to shine on you so that you know what is blocking between you and Jesus that Jesus is not your Lord. Then, repent, confess your sins(use the Subject Shifting Method is a good way for you to do so)and return to the Lord.

2. No more being a "religious people" but a true Christian, a real disciple of Christ Jesus
a. Purify/Consecrate yourself by the blood of Jesus Christ
2 Chronicles 30: 15, 19-20

b. A lifestyle of Worship, Praise and Pray daily
2 Chronicles 30:21, Psalm 81: 1-2

c. Joyfully make your offerings as much as you can offer
2 Chronicles 30:22-26, 31:5-8

d. Experiencing your worship, praise, prayer and offerings have been accepted by the Lord
2 Chronicles 30:27

e. Smash and destroy all your idols
2 Chronicles 31:1

3. Living out a life as a listen and obey disciple of Jesus Christ our Lord, to seek Him wholeheartedly and then enjoy God's promise that you will be prospered in His own way(but not prosperity gospel)
Psalm 81:6-7, 2 Chronicles 31:20-21

4. Understand that you can't live that out, only by the filling of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit
Romans 15: 13

If you can live this kind of life, a life of Christlikeness, then you are out of captivity!

Dear Holy Spirit,

Help me to live out a life of Christlikeness daily so that I know that I am out of captivity so that I can enjoy the power of your Kingdom. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
