Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 105:1-7, Isaiah 22:1-24:23; Galatians 2:17-3:9, Proverbs 23:15-16)

Today's main passage:
11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[b] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[d] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.   Galatians 3:11-14

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening
The topic I received today is: The righteous will live by faith, receiving the promise of the Spirit

Since very young I like the promise of today's Galatians 3:11 "The righteous will live by faith". Many people thinks that it is about the righteous can go to heaven after they die, but it is more than that. What about before death?

Actually this is the meaning of "eternal life", it means that we can have relationship with God eternally while we are living each day and after we die we will still be in this relationship!

Paul repeatedly tells us in Galatians that this eternal life can not be acquired through our deeds but only to believe in Jesus Christ. And, that "live by faith", that eternal life is actually we have the promise of the Holy Spirit when we believe in Jesus and in that eternal relationship with Jesus!

Have you received that promise that is the Holy Spirit?

Are you being filled with the Holy Sprit and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit each day that you have the assurance that you are already in the eternal life?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be filled with the Holy Sprit and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit each day that we have the assurance that we are already in the eternal life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message ?

2. What is your next step to be filled with the Holy Sprit and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit each day?
