1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received today is: Her name is blessing - Love is God! God is Love!
"Blessing" is the name of Bishop Francis and his wife Eva's adopted daughter. Her story of transformation is the biggest gift of my trip to Rwanda the past week!
Last Tuesday, the last night of my trip in Rwanda, Francis and Eva came to have dinner with me, together with Archbishop Kolini and Freda, Bishop Jeffrey and Mary. Bishop Francis and Eva gave us the most wonderful story of God using them to change Blessing's life through their willing to adopt Blessing and their 13 years of continuous love!
The new born Blessing was being thrown to a forest by her own mother. A dog got her and put her on the street and someone took her to the Police. Police found her mother and put her in jail for a while and then gave her back Blessing.
Then, she wrapped Blessing with a cloth and threw it to a litter bin, someone noticed and gave her to the Police. Then for the next 16 years she was in quite a number of foster parents home because of the insecurity and anger in her life.
Eva, Bishop Francis wife was the Director of Education in a High School and the Government put Blessing to the care of Eva's boarding school. The first three months Blessing caused a lot of troubles and no one could help her. So, Eva told Francis that she had a call for them to adopt Blessing!
The first three years was a chaos because almost every night around 3am she woke up and got crazy. Every one to two weeks Francis had to get her to the hospital because she hurt herself by hitting the wall!
This painful situation continued for three years then Blessing saw the love of Francis and Eve and the love of God. Blessing received Jesus as Saviour and Lord of life!
Wow! Her life has been changing drastically and she become almost the most powerful and useful counsellor now in her own town! A girl whose name is Blessing but seems no blessing in her life for years but now becomes a blessing to many people!
Yes! A man reaps what he sows!
Francis and Eva used three years to love and Blessing accepted their love and God's love at last!
This is my biggest experience in Rwanda the past week:
Love is God, God is love!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to experience "Love is God, God is love" through that 13 years of continuous love of Bishop Francis and Eva's love to Blessing. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
