1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received today is: Who are your dear spiritual sons and daughters?
This morning Jesus commands me to ask you three questions:
1. Who are your dear spiritual sons and daughters?
2. How do you pray for them daily like how Paul prayed for Timothy?
3. How do you fan into flame their spiritual gifts so that they can raise up their dear spiritual sons and daughters like you?
If you do not have your dear spiritual sons and daughters you are most probably a religious person and not a Christian!
If you have not been praying for your dear spiritual sons and daughters daily, may be they have been scattered away and no more your spiritual children!
If you have not fanned into flame their spiritual gifts so that they can raise up their dear spiritual sons and daughters you are a spiritual father or mother who has not been doing your duty well!
Jesus reminds me now that is the reason how He asked Peter three times "Do you love me?" after He was resurrected. Jesus wanted to remind and command Peter to do his duty as a responsible spiritual father and shepherd, to take care and feed those lambs and sheep Jesus puts into Peter's care. Never let them go from baby Christians to mature Christians!
Dear Abba Father,
Help us to be a responsible spiritual father and mother, right away. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
