Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's main passage:
14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:14-18
My Listening
The topic I received today is: Hong Kong being resurrected! Really?
I deeply believe that Hong Kong is being resurrected!
Eventhough there are still riot in Hong Kong, but I have seen more and more "wisdom from heaven" surfacing in Hong Kong as described by James:
peace-loving, considerate-submissive, full of mercy, good fruit...
That's what I have seen in the past 48 hours of change to lead me to see Hong Kong is being resurrected!
bitter envy, selfish ambition, disorder and every evil practice...
Are those things keep happening in Hong Kong the past five months?
Let us kick those "earthly, unspiritual and demonic wisdom" away from Hong Kong so that Hong Kong can be resurrected!
Today, I see that Hong Kong is being resurrected!
Can you see that?
Can you receive this "wisdom from heaven" so that you can take part in the process to resurrect Hong Kong?
Dear Abba Father,
Help us to receive this "wisdom from heaven" so that we take part in the process to resurrect Hong Kong. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Help us to receive this "wisdom from heaven" so that we take part in the process to resurrect Hong Kong. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message?
2. What is your next step to receive this "wisdom from heaven" so that you can take part in the process to resurrect Hong Kong?
