1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received today is: God watches over this city, Hong Kong besieged by tear gas, so what!
I think today's topic and the two main passages is what Hongkongers have been experiencing the past five months. I sincerely pray and hope that they can understand and to grasp this time of big trial, knowing that God has been watching over this city and their faith can be strengthened through many difficult moments, and most important is to be used by God to change this city to be the City of God!
