Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's main passage:
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you.
Consider the outcome of their way of life and
imitate their faith.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:7-8
My Listening
The topic I received today is: Have a good mentor, be a good mentor, raise a good mentor
Today's Hebrews 13:7-8 was the passage Pastor Rick Warren preached in my consecration as a bishop in 2009. Until now, I still remember the three words he gave me through his sermon:
1. Remember
We need to always remember those mentors who raised us up, taught us and inspired us. Never forget them and forsake them!
2. Consider
We need to consider whether our mentors can have a true and continuous good example of their lives
3. Imitate
We need to imitate their way of lives if they really can demonstrate a true and continuous good example
Our good mentors should be able to lead us and point us to Jesus as our best mentor, because only Jesus can be that truly consistence good mentor who never change!
May you have a good mentor, be a good mentor, raise a good mentor
Dear Abba Father,
Help us to have a good mentor, be a good mentor and be able to raise a good mentor. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message?
2. What is your next step to have a good mentor, be a good mentor and be able to raise a good mentor?
