Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's main passage:
I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built like a city
that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.

4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.
7 May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.”
8 For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your prosperity. Pslam 122:1-9

My Listening
The topic I received today is: Pray for the peace of Hong Kong, then God will reign in Hong Kong!
Do you believe that?
May be you think, the promise of Psalm 122 is for those who pray for Jerusalem, right?
Yes, but, Jerusalem also represent all the churches in this world for those are the places with God's throne. Hong Kong has thousands of churches, that's why when Hong Kong is in danger, we need to pray for Hong Kong so that we can receive God's promise. What are those promises:
1. We will be joyful when we go to our church to worship
2. Our church is closely united together
3. All people sing praises to God in unity
4. Those who pray for Hong Kong are those God loves and He will give security and prosperity to them
5. We will be in peace, that means God is in us
But, the situation in Hong Kong is the reverse from point 1 to 5 now!
Let's really use more time each day to pray for Hong Kong in faith and then God will reign in this city!

Dear Abba Father,
Help us to use more time each day to pray for Hong Kong in faith and that in faith we know that you will reign in this city. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message?
2. What is your next step to really use more time each day to pray for Hong Kong in faith so that God will reign in this city?
