Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's main passage:
The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.

10 They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received today from Jesus is:
"God gives you great reward! Want it?"
How do you respond to God as He is saying you now, "I have
prepared a great reward to you!"
1. I hope you will say, "Yes, I want that!"
2. I think you will ask, "What should I do to have your reward, Lord?"
Today's all four passages are focus on the relationship of God and us.
Today's Psalm tells us that if we can keep God's commandments we will have His great reward.
Today's Exodus tells us about how God gave the Ten Commandments so that we can be in His Kingdom and sovereignty.
Today's Matthew tells us how the Pharisees and teachers of law shut the door of God's Kingdom not letting people to go in.
Today's Proverbs tells us that if we can keep God's commandments we
will receive God's great reward and that reward is LIFE.
That's is like what Jesus says in today's Matthew of how the hen gathers her chicks under her wings, that is our daily and every moment intimate relationship with Jesus!
Do you want this great reward!
Have you already received this great reward?
prepared a great reward to you!"

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to follow your way and keep your commandments so that we can receive your great reward everyday and forever. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and challenge have your received today that might change your attitude and your future direction?
2. What is your next step for this to happen?
