Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ is extremely important:
The theme I receive today is an answer to quite a number of brothers and sisters questions the past few days. When they read the last chapter of Joshua and the second chapter of Judges they found out the Bible says :
Their question is just one word: WHY?
Well, because when faith become a "past tense" and the children and children's children of those Israelites could not have a "present tense" experience of God, then everything didn't work!
As we see in today's Luke 21:37-38, early in the morning many people were with Jesus in the temple. Then every night, Jesus was in the Mount of Olives being with Abba Father! That's "Present Tense"! That's the source of power! Past tense faith won't work!
"Past tense doesn't work! You need God's daily presence, signs and wonders! "

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to be with you each day that our faith is not a "past tense" faith. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What is the status of your faith, "present tense" or "past tense"? If you think your faith is "present tense", what was the last time you listen to Jesus talking to you and how did you respond?
2. How can you improve on your daily being with Jesus?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
