Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ is extremely important:
The theme I receive today is not easy for us to accept! You must be thinking, "What, you really mean I need to be in crisis? No, never! I want to be with Jesus and be at peace at all time, no struggle, no crisis, just peace!"
If you think like that, I can tell you that may not be possible. Why?
1. Most Christians do not aware that lots of time they are religious people and not true disciples of Jesus
Lots of people including Christians are serving worldly gods quite similar to the time in Judges worshiping to Baal and Ashtoreths! Nowadays lots of people are being plundered by money, power and sex! The reality is just like how it describes in Judges 2:14-15(please read this passage or what I scribed today in my journey above) when we ask why God allow crisis to happen, what we do not aware is that when you leave God you are no longer able to resist all those temptation and attack. Without God, anxiety, depression and destruction will come!
2. Not listen to their Godly leaders
NIV uses a very strong word in Judges 2:17 that "they would not listen to their judges but prostituted themselves to other gods and worshippers them"
3. People refuse to give up their evil practices and stubborn ways
So, what is the solution and way out?
1. Go back to the daily presence of God, the present tense, not the past tense any more so that God can pull us out from the mud of sins to make us religious people and not disciples of Jesus
Only God can pull us out from Satan's attack and our unable to pull out from the seven deadly sins: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth.
2. Know that all crisis is just a test from God to teach us WARFARE
That's from Judges 3:1-4(please read this passage) that God allows crisis to happen is to teach us warfare and as today's Psalm 59:11 that we really need crisis so that we won't forget God!
3. We need the Holy Spirit to fill us to be leaders to fight this severe warfare
As in Judges 3:9-10(please read this passage)
So, do you agree with today's passages that you need crisis so that you won't forget God?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to accept today's difficult message that we need crisis to serve as a test so that we won't forget God and be willing to be your Spirit-filled warriors. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Are you facing with some crisis recently? How do you see those crisis before you read my blog today? How do you see those crisis after you read my blog today?
2. How can you have a positive attitude to your crisis and help other people to have that attitude?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
