"Why?", "Why me?" is what we as human beings use to respond to our own sufferings. Today's Psalm 71:19-24 give us answer to this painful question.
The reason of God giving you many bitter troubles is because He so wants to restore your life again!
Just like 23:3 "He restore my soul. You guides me along the right paths for his name's sake." Only after this "restoration" we have a better chance to call God from "he" to "you"! A remote relationship of "he" from a close relationship of "you", Lord, thank you for being here with me!
That's how David demonstrated to us in today 2 Samuel 2:1-4 of how he asked God of where he should go and which city God wants him to reside. Then, God gave him the green light to go and to give him the name of the city where he resided there as king for 7 1/2 years.
Our many bitter troubles pull us back to a close relationship with God so that we can be restored by Him and that we are willing to die of our own self-centredness so that we can enter into His glory, His presence, to serve Jesus humbly and then we will be honoured by God in a very special way!
Yes, Jesus says, "My Father will honour the one who serves me." John 12:26
The offering of our First Fruit every morning have changed lots of things: unity, lifestyle, character …and many more!
Also, we started to have a weekly Thursday TWA at 8p.m. two months ago, a weekly Friday TWA for moms with child care last Friday and a weekly TWA led by Pastoral Care School leader at 7p.m. four years ago.

The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ is: "為何主使你經歷重大急難?"
"Why?", "Why me?" is what we as human beings use to respond to our own sufferings. Today's Psalm 71:19-24 give us answer to this painful question.

Dear Lord Jesus,
We give thanks to you for all those bitter troubles so that we can have a better chance to be restored by you and that we can glorify you and be honoured by you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
