Praise and Thanksgiving

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 67:1-7; 1 Samuel 2:22-4:22; John  5:24-47Proverbs 14:30-31)

 My Listening
The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ made me trembling: "Honour God? Dishonour God? "

And, this morning I scribed seven pages! Powerful seven pages to teach us the fruit and glory of the result of honouring God and the consequence and darkness of dishonouring God from all four passages!

As I dropped down what Jesus told me this morning on the side of my scribing, I think it is better for me to copy and paste of what I directly got from Jesus so that you know what I've got and hope that you will get what Jesus tailor-made for you today.

     Honour God?
     1. To honour God is to be close to God that His face shine on us, then our ways will be prosper and know to other people and we will be glad and sing joyfully and be blessed by God each day. (Psalm 67:1-6)

     2. To honour God is to fear Him. (Psalm 67:7)

     3. To honour God is to ask God to speak and be willing to listen and obey. (1 Sam. 3:10)

     4. To honour God will be prospered in God's gifts and recognized by other people.(1 Sam. 3:19-20)

     5. To honour God is to be able and willing to hear Jesus voice and that we can cross over from death to life. (John 5:24-27)

     6. To honour God is to be with Him and enjoy the peace, shalom. (Proverbs 14:30)

     7. To honour God is to be kind to the needy. (Proverbs 14:31)

     Dishonor God?
     1. To dishonour God is not to listen to God's warning. (1 Sam. 2:25-26)

     2. To dishonour God is that God's promise might change because of our wickedness. Distress, punishment and death would come. (1 Sam. 30-32)

     3. To dishonour God is that good things have nothing to do with you anymore. (1 Sam. 30:34)

     4. To dishonour God is that there won't be any word or vision from God would come. (1 Sam. 3:1)

     5. To dishonour God is to be religious people, doing God's work but can't listen to God's voice, or be able to listen but don't know that it is God's voice. (1 Sam. 3:13)

     6. To dishonour God is to ignore God's warning and lost the last chance away from punishment or even death. (1 Sam. 3:18)

     7. To dishonour God is that punishment and punishment of death will come. (1 Sam. 4:17-22)

     8. To dishonour God is to study Bible diligently but refuse to come near Jesus to be with him, not to be able to hear His voice, or listen but not willing to obey. (John 5:39)

    9.  To dishonour God is not to accept Jesus, but accept other people and follow them. (John 5: 40-42)

    10. To dishonour God is to accept glory from other people but do not seek God's glory. (John 5:44)

    11. To dishonour God is to have envy to other people, oppress the poor by collecting wealth. (Proverbs 14: 30-31)

     Dear Lord Jesus,
Challenge us today whether we know that we are honouring you each day or dishonouring you each day so that we may be honoured by you and have life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
      Reflect on these questions:
   1.  What is your reflection after today's useful and strong messages?

    2.  How can you honour God more each day? How can you get rid of any lifestyle of yours that might dishonour God?
     3. What have you received from Jesus today?

    Praise and Thanksgiving
Let's give thanks for God with us. Let us praise Him:
