Silence

1.   Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2.   Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2.   Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 78:56-64; 2 Chronicles 17:1-18:34; Romans 9:22-10:13, Proverbs 20:2-3)

Today's main passages:
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[j] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”      Romans 10:9-13

30 Now the king of Aram had ordered his chariot commanders, “Do not fight with anyone, small or great, except the king of Israel.” 31 When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought, “This is the king of Israel.” So they turned to attack him, but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him. God drew them away from him, 32 for when the chariot commanders saw that he was not the king of Israel, they stopped pursuing him.         2 Chronicles 18:30-32

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening
Today's Romans tells us very clearly that those call on the name of the Lord will be saved!

Today's 2 Chronicles gives us a very vivid example of how King Jehoshaphat called on the name of the Lord in his most critical time of being chased and killed that he was being saved!

Yesterday I came to Regina,SK to pray for Rev. Tom Needham as his leukaemia came back after six years of completely being healed!

We witnessed great signs and wonders in his home and experienced "Call on the name of the Lord will be saved"!

1. Jesus Prepared many priests to pray for Tom: When I stepped into Tom and Rosemary's home, I switched on my cel. to join AM Canada's monthly clergy call and we had many priests prayed for Tom and Rosemary. We heard their sharing, saw their faces and prayed for them, giving them lots of support and they felt not being left alone in this crisis!

2. Jesus used Rev. Ignatius Ng(my elder son and Family Pastor of Richmond Emmanuel Church) to give Tom an important message and encouragement from Jesus Himself, one minute after that clergy call:

3. Jesus used me to explain to Tom and Rosemary what did Iggy's message means to them:

4. Tom shared his story of being saved: Tom told us when everybody arrived of how he was being saved and baptised by the Holy Spirit. He was brought to a church by Rosemary and someone asked him to share his story. He could not speak and felt painful in his throat and he cried out: "Jesus saves me! Jesus saves me!" He was being saved! He was a Captain in the Royal Canadian Air Force at that time. In two days time, he asked for an appointment with the Anglican bishop of that area. After he met the bishop, he resigned from the Air Force and went into seminary, being ordained as an Anglican priest, went back to the Air Force and became a Air Force Chaplain. When he retired in 1996 he was a Major in the Air Force!

Yes, call on the name of the Lord will be saved!

We do not know whether Tom can get through this time! What we know is that he and Rosemary experienced how great God really is yesterday!

Please pray for them!

And I am in their home right now to make today's recording with them together. Wow! They had a very powerful testimony, after the concluding prayer and Amen. Tom had another powerful testimony, please do not press stop and continue to listen. It's about how Jesus used him to lead the President of Full Gospel in Calgary to Jesus in a very special way!

    Dear Lord Jesus,
We give thanks to you of how you miraculously gave Tom and Rosemary your words and confirmation that they will never be alone and that they should not fear the enemies but to dance with you. Help us to experience each day your saving act when we are close to you and call on your mighty name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration, encouragement and invitation  have you received from today's message ?

2. What is the next one step for you to experience when you call on the name of the Lord will be saved?
