Bible Study
The past two days Jesus talks about how we can change from "no way out" to "the way out". And, how to be sure that we are in "the way out" which is to be able to be with Jesus everyday.
Following those messages, Jesus gives us an assurance today of the most wonderful fruit of His daily presence in us:
1. God (the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit) will come and make their home with us. (v. 23) There is a condition and that is we need to live out "listen and obey" to Jesus proving that we really love Jesus.
2. The Holy Spirit will have a space in us teaching us everything Jesus already taught us. (v. 26)
3. Since God is making their home with us so we have that kind of peace that the world can not give. God is peace, so when God is with us we have that peace. When God leaves us then we won't have that peace. It's like someone having a very good smell fragrance, when she or he is with us then we have that good smell.
4. The king of this world steals our peace away, steals Jesus daily presence from us. When we want to be close to the lifestyle and values of the king of this world then we will be in trouble and fear(v. 27). When we have God making their home with us then we will experience peace.
Are you in His peace right now? If not, need to go back to yesterday's Discipler123 blog or podcast to learn that five points and live that out.
May the Lord be with you!
Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: Are you in trouble, in fear or in peace?
A few days ago, Michelle and I went to someone's home trying to save him from some big trouble and fear. God worked miraculously that I led him to receive Jesus the first time!
In the beginning when we walked into his home he said, "I feel peace as you sit beside me now. So peaceful!" Then after two hours and his prayer to receive Jesus he said, "You talked so naturally and so good. Have you prepared all those messages already?" I said, "Do you mean that if it was me talking to you or Jesus talking to you, right?" He smiled and said, "Yes, that's what I mean." I said, "You know, two hours ago when you felt peace is because Jesus is with Michelle and I, when we came in, Jesus came in and so that's the peace of His presence. And, Jesus worked through me to give you a tailor-made message. It is always not me but Jesus who talks!" His eyes were wide opened and in awe!
Please pray for this young man not only to get away from his trouble and fear but to enter into a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. He sent an email to me two days ago that since that day we went to his home he has been using my blog to have daily devotion. Hope he won't stop! Hope you won't stop! If you stop, then the peace may go away, because Jesus may be away!
That is what Jesus wants to tell you today. Got it?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to stay with you each day that we are in you, in the Way and that we will experience the peace that the world cannot give, the peace of your presence. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
