"Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name - the name you gave me - so that they may be one as we are one. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me...My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth."
John 17: 11-12, 15-17
As we carefully read the most important prayer of Jesus, we should be able to find out that He pleaded for the Father to protect those who were with Jesus. Why they needed as well as we need that kind of protection? Because the Devil is going to come and take them away from the Truth, the Way and the Life!
So, what is the best way to be in God's protection? Read God's word, digest God's word and be with God's word that we can be sanctified into a different life journey, a journey of Christlikeness! That's the only way to get away from the Devil hunt!
Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: The best assassin ever!
Yes, that's what I received from Jesus. The Devil is just like an assassin, the bad news is that he is the best assassin ever! I do not know if you have watch those movies about assassins. The reality is that if you are the target of a professional assassin you have only a rare chance to get away and be alive! And, Satan is the best assassin ever which means you are surely dead. Dead means you will be out of unity and into disunity according to the devil's plan. What's the way out?
Well, it's all there. You need to be under the protection of the Father because Jesus pleads for your safety. The bad news is that most Christians are not willing to be sanctified by God's words which means they rather want to be protected by other worldly forces and not God's protection.
Do you know now what is God's protection that you can be holy each day!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to be protect by the Father so that the best assassin won't get any chance to kill us and that we can be in unity building up your body. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
