Bible Study

Every once a while we would feel troubled, discouraged and full of sadness. Sometimes when this kind of emotion comes is because we are facing with some huge difficulties we can't solve. But, sometimes this emotion comes from nowhere, we just fill troubled, heavy hearted and sad!

Well, that's normal because just as Jesus says we will have troubles in this world as disciples of Christ. The good thing is that he defeat the world on all of those troubles.

Just as N.T. Wright says, ""The world" that will hate, persecute and ridicule Jesus' followers has been not sidelined, not downgraded, but defeated."

How would this message help you to get through your next troublesome time?

Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: I'v defeated the world!

What I received from Jesus today is that no human beings can defeat the world, just Jesus. So, if we want not to be troubled by the world any more we need to be as close as we can to Jesus so that He can defeat the next wave of troubles for you!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be as close as we can to you each day that you can defeat the world for us when the next wave of troubles hit us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
