Bible Study

This passage records how Peter told others three times that he didn't know Jesus when his heart was crying out that he really did. N.T. Wright shows us a big contrast between Jesus and Peter:
Jesus is telling the high priest the truth while Peter is telling lies to the servants. Jesus is speaking openly, Peter is doing his best to hide.

Why Peter could do that to Jesus? If you were Peter, do you think you can do better?

Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: Most famous denial!

Don't think that you can do better than Peter when you were in that situation. Why? Because you are just a human being and you can't do anything when the king of this world is in total control. Any kind of bad thing could happen without the presence of Jesus including your denial just like Peter!

Accept Jesus as your Lord and King , be with Him and walk with him each day that what Peter did won't happen to you.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Be with us that we would never tell others that we do not know you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
