Bible Study

After Paul giving thanks to the Lord for how the Colossians being new immigrants of God's Kingdom, he writes a poem to praise Jesus of who Jesus is - the Lord and King who have supremacy of everyone and everything.

Bishop N.T. Wright says ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ) :
What they need to know above all, if they are to grow as Christians, increasing in wisdom, power, patience and thanksgiving, is the centrality and supremacy of Jesus Christ.  The more they get to know, and know about, Jesus Christ, the more they will understand who the true God is and what he's done; who they are as a result; and what it means to live in and for him…
Christianity isn't simply about a particular way of being religious.  It isn't about a particular system for how to be saved here or hereafter.  It isn't simply a different way of holiness.  Christianity is about Jesus Christ.

Do you know what should be the true relationship with Jesus if you really are an immigrant of God's Kingdom?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

Spiritual Journal

The title I heard from Jesus today is: Is Jesus your Lord and King? Really?

The message I got from Jesus yesterday is "Are you an immigrant in God's Kingdom? Really?" The message I got from Jesus today is "Is Jesus your Lord and King? Really?"

Yesterday night, Michelle and I had a wonderful and blessed time to listen to my podcast with a couple. Before that we had an hour of chatting and suddenly I asked the lady, "Are you an immigrant in God's Kingdom?" Her husband answered right away, "I don't think she is." Then, it opened a door for me to put in the link of my blog/podcast into her cel. and also listened to my podcast right away. After that, she asked, "How can you listen to the voice of Jesus? Is it really true that you can listen to Jesus?" Then, I asked Michelle to share how she can be able to listen to Jesus and then my daily experience of listening to Jesus and putting what I have listened to this blog/podcast. It is so easy! It is purely relational!

Yes, Jesus is your Saviour, there is no problem on that, if not, you won't be reading or listening to this blog/podcast, right? But, Jesus may not be your Lord and King. Why? Because if Jesus is your Lord and King, then you must be able to listen to Him as often as you can. Even, if you can, that doesn't mean that He is your Lord and King. Why? Because we are so rebellious, we want to play a cast to be our own lord and king and we do not obey to our real Lord and King's command. Not to do the thing He wants us not to do and to do the thing He wants us to do. Just like Satan, who was an Archangel, always do the opposite of God's command. And Satan always tempts you to do the same things as he always been doing.

So, if Jesus is really your Lord and King, you should have no problem to listen to Jesus daily and to obey His command to you daily. And day by day, you will be changed in your character and your lifestyle to be more like Jesus, a true lifestyle of Christlikeness. Can you courageously start your first step now today, to enter into this daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus and be a true immigrant of God's Kingdom?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to enter into a true and living relationship with you as our Lord and King. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
