Bible Study

     With all the sufferings thus said so far, here comes the harvest. Times up, pens down, hand in your examination paper. It's somewhat like that. 

Let's take a look at what Bishop N.T. Wright says (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ) :

    

      The whole passage is designed to convey a powerful message which we need today as much as ever.  God's time will come; God will bring his people safely home; God will take even the wickedness and rebellion of the world and make it turn to his praise and to the salvation of his people.  And in the meantime his people are to be encouraged in their suffering.  Martyrdom itself will be part of God's purpose to bring his wise, healing order - which includes his relentless judgment on relentless sinners - to bear upon the world.

      How can the message of the coming harvest helps you to be more willing to suffer and to work harder for Jesus?  Are you in Jesus harvesting team?

    The title I heard from Jesus today is: Harvest is coming!  Where are you?

    What I receive today is a challenging question. It's all about what kind of harvest have you been working on. Are you a farmer farming your own field trying to get all the money and everything you can have? Or, are you a good farmer working under Jesus and His servants as the foremen to prepare for the harvest.

     If you are in Jesus farming team, then all those kind of handwork and suffering is just part of the farming process. 

     Harvest is coming! Where are you?  
  

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to be willing to join your team of farmers to prepare for your harvest to come. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
