Bible Study

     Yesterday's passage shows how God lay the foundation of the world. Today's passages shows how God put order to build up the foundation. 

Let's take a look at what Professor John Goldingay says (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Goldingay) :

    

     It is a human instinct to need some structure in our lives and in our homes, though many people find it hard to get that structure…
     Genesis 1 presupposes this human need and those human dynamics…
     The way the days of creation pan out is that God spends the first three laying the foundation for the work as a whole, and the second three building on this foundation…
     So on Sunday God separated light and darkness, and on Wednesday, God set up the entities that actually shine light on the earth.  On Monday God erected the dome to separate the water above and the water below, and on Thursday God filled the lower water with its creatures and commanded into being the birds that fly across the dome.  It was all very organized…
     In turn Friday fills out the sketch from Tuesday, when land emerged and plants and fruit trees began to grow.  On Friday the land creatures appear for whom the plants and fruit trees will be food.

      This chaotic world needs a good order. We need a good order in our daily lives. What does this message tells you?

    The title I heard from Jesus today is: When God speaks, good order

    What I receive from Jesus today is a wonderful and practical help to all of us, especially those whose lives are in a chaotic state, or a kind of disorganized and disorder lifestyle.

     When you are willing to have God speaks to you to change your life, good order will surely come. This is so true to me because when I am more and more closer to Jesus my life and lifestyle would become more and more organized and in good order.  When I am more and more away from Jesus then my life and lifestyle would become more and more disorganized and disorder. How about you?

     Do you believe that will happen? Have you experienced that?  
   

Dear Lord Jesus,

Lead us to draw near to you each day and to listen to you. Because when you speak, we will be in good order.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
