Praise and Thanksgiving

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2.   Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 60:1-4; Judges 6:1-40; Luke22:54-23:12, Proverbs 14:5-6)

Bible link:English(NIV):

Today's main passages:
When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said,
"The Lord is with you, mighty warrior."        Judges 6:12

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the
passage of the Bible we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen
to him.

My Listening
Today our main thought is to focus on how God sent an angel to appear before
Gideon, raised him up to be a mighty warrior and filled him with the Holy Spirit
with the anointing to call many Israelites to go up gathering together to fight for
the Lord.

We can read it carefully in Judges chapter 6 to learn how great God is to show
forth miraculous signs and wonder solving the doubt and disbelieve of Gideon,
mainly three steps:
1. Why (Judges 6:13) - God is not with them
2. How (Judges 6:14-16) - God is with Gideon
3. Really (Judges 6:17-23, 36-40) - Of course, look!

How about you? God is calling you now to become a mighty warrior to fight for Him just like He called Moses, Joshua, Deborah and Gideon. Are you willing to walk through that three steps to become God's mighty warrior?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to know that just like Gideon we are full of doubt and disbelieve. Lead
us to walk through that three steps so that we can become a mighty warrior
fighting a good fight for you. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Reflect on these questions:

1. How has today's message given you inspiration and strength?

2.  How can you walk through that three steps to become a mighty warrior for God?

Family Corner:
1. Find an opportunity to share with your family members of Gideon's story to discern how to become a mighty warrior for God.

Praise and Thanksgiving
