1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 60:5-12; Judges 7:1-8:17; Luke 23:13-43, Proverbs 14:7-8)

Today's main passages:
Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless. Psalm 60:11
The Lord said to Gideon,
"You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands,
or Israel would boast against me,
'My own strength has saved me.'." Judges 7:2
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of the Bible we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
If we truly believe that Psalm 60:11 is a reminder and promise from God, I am
quite sure that our life journey from now on will be full of God's healing,
releasing and saving!
Please take a look from Judges chapter 7 of how God used two steps to take out Gideon's army from 32,000 to 10,000 and then from 10,000 to only 300! And, those 300 mighty warriors could destroy the Midian army as thick as locusts and their fighting camels more than the sand on the seashore!(Judges 7:1-12)!
Human help is worthless, only God's aid can truly help you! Do you believe that?
If you believe that, God is calling you now to become those very small number of mighty warriors just like Gideon't 300. Are you willing?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know that human help is worthless and only you can truly help us.
Lead and help us, Lord, that we are willing to become your mighty warriors. In
Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Reflect on these questions:
1. How has today's message given you inspiration and encouragement?
2. How can you start to experience the reminder and promise of "Human help is worthless, only God's aid can truly help you"?
Family Corner:
1. Find an opportunity to share with your family members of this reminder and promise.
