Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm117:1-2, Jeremiah 31:27-32:44; 1 Timothy 3:1-16; Proverbs 25:20-22)
Today's main passage:
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenantwith the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to them,”
declares the Lord.
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to them,”
declares the Lord.
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
Jeremiah 31:31-34
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received today from Jesus is: Not a OT religious person but a NT Christian! Jesus is our beloved!
Before the whole nation of Judah was being destroyed by Babylon, God told His people through Prophet Jeremiah two very important things:
1. God told them the covenant of God with them and their nation will be no more
God told them the relationship with God and His people is like husband and wife, but the wife has another beloved and has broken the covenant of God and His people like breaking a marriage covenant. The consequence is their whole nation will be destroyed soon.
2. God commanded Jeremiah to prophesy the coming of the new covenant, their salvation will come soon
The coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ saves us that we are no longer an Old Testament time religious person but a New Testament time true Christian that we can enter into the marriage covenant with God wholeheartedly. We are able to have Jesus as our beloved, to walk with Jesus and to chat with Jesus each day and that we can love our home church as the home Jesus gives us to build up as a true family of Christ.
May you be a true New Testament Christian and not an Old Testament religious person that you can enjoy Jesus being with you and chatting with you each day!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be a true New Testament Christian and a faithful disciple of you enjoying your presence to talk with you and to walk with you each day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?
2. What is your next step to be more closer to God?
