"Then I put the ring in her nose and the bracelets on her arms, and I bowed down and worshiped the Lord. I praised the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me on the right road to get the granddaughter of my master's brother for his son." Genesis 24: 47-48

What I received from Jesus today is: Courage to exercise your gifts!

This is a long chapter recording how miraculously Isaac got his wife Rebekah. There are three main stages of how spiritual gifts were exercised:

1. Abraham's exercised his gift of prophecy of how God would give his servant an angel to lead the way.

2. Abraham's chief servant willing to pray, to worship the Lord before each of the important happening. And, the servant exercised the gifts of discernment and knowledge(v. 21) to be certain that was the girl God prepared for Isaac.

3. Laban and Bethuel accepted that was from God and they said nothing.

I do hope and pray that we know how to follow this pattern to discern God's will. A very simple, focus and deep method to allow God to work through you to do His Kingdom work.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to have the courage to exercise our spiritual gifts. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
