So Joseph went after his brothers and found them near Dothan. But they saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.
Genesis 37: 17-18
What I received from Jesus today is: Don't kill your brother!
How could Joseph ten elder brothers plotted to kill him? How could that happen? Was that because of jealousy, anger or hatred? The modern version of this kind of brothers killing brothers happen very often and it is so sad to see that happen especially to those people you know. And, especially you are the victim! The sad thing is people won't know they are killing their brothers because they have enough self-righteous reasons to justify themselves.
Don't kill your brother!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to kill our brothers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
