Jesus dies in the place of the sinner. His great Passover action makes a way through the Red Sea of sin and death, inviting Barabbas, and an increasing multitude ever since, to walk through to freedom.
That's how and why Jesus dies for us. How are we going to respond to his love and be willing to be transformed by his love? How are we preparing ourselves to die in the similar manner in order that His will be done? How obedient we could be to walk with Jesus toward the Cross and to die on our Cross for Jesus?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: Jesus dies so that we can live!
What I got from Jesus today is a reminder to all of us of how much Jesus love us! To say how we love Jesus and that we are willing to die on the Cross for Him is so easy. But, when the Cross comes, right in front of us, most Christians flee!
I have heard so many stories of how people crucify their leader, no matter they are bishops, priests, pastors or leaders. That's the Deceiver's cunning and deadly plan to take out each of those top leaders in a church and lots of people step into that trap crying, "Crucify him! Crucify him!"
I received a telephone call half an hour ago telling me that some people put their Senior Pastor to the cross just a few days ago to eliminate him. I cried for that pastor because I know him and I know that he must be very painful now. It may be a coincidence that I received that call while I am writing and recording this blog and podcast. To me, it's a sign from the Lord to tell you to love and pray daily for your pastors. They are your shepherds and you got to love them. What could be better for Satan to take out your Senior Pastors or to stir up misunderstanding and hatred among your pastors? Nothing could be better than Satan to come in to burn your whole church down start with taking out the top leader or leaders. Love and pray for your pastors, protect them, encourage them, follow their lead and that you and your church will be richly blessed!
Remember, Jesus dies so that we can live! Die for Jesus, don't crucify Jesus or His servants!
