Paul continuous yesterday's message telling people not to judge. Not to judge God's servants, not to judge your brother and not to judge anyone. It seems that Paul is just talking about the argument of what kind of food you can eat or not eat. But deep down there is a complicated human sin. Judging is not your job, it is God's role. When you judge other people, you are sitting on God's seat acting as God. Very, very dangerous!

When we have a negative feeling on other people, the right attitude is to tell God just like when you are in a law suit telling what has happened and then God as the true judge will take action. Not you!

So, your bad behaviour of judging others would be like those who use their own way to execute suspected because they think the law system would not be able to give a fair trial. Do you want to be those kind of self-justify killers?

Bishop N.T. Wright's says ()http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright:

God has declared both this person and that person to be members of his people.  They stand before their maker and their Lord and must take responsibility for themselves.  Christians must learn to respect one another, and to find ways of living out in practice what it means to live to the Lord and to die to the Lord.

N.T. Wright. Paul for Everyone:Romans: Part 2. Louisville,KY: Westminster John Knox Press, 2004, p.90.

Ah, so for you to stop judging other people, it is a dying and living issue. Are you willing to die to this kind of taking God's role to judge bad behaviour and to be transformed in a new way of life to appreciate and love more?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

What I heard from Jesus today is: Stop judging and despise your brother

What I got from Jesus today is a continuous warning to stop judging one another. It is so easy for us to take the role of God to pass on judgements to other people. Why? Because we as human beings always thinks that we are always right. I have seen too many couples divorced because they both thought they were right judging the other party was wrong. Sometimes you have done something wonderful but someone might think that you should do it in his or her own way or timing.

There are so many people who take the seat of God to judge, how can we live joyfully on earth? We can't! Only if we do not follow that evil pattern to judge and to cast those sorrows to God. Trust me, God has His own way to deal with the most evil judge. Do you believe that? If you keep on judging others, watch out, God will have His own way to deal with you, in His own time!

Stop judging and despise your brother, please!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us not to take your role to judge and to trust that you will judge in your time.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
