認罪悔改

"親愛的聖靈, 求你光照我心靈的深處, 使我看見我的罪, 我和主耶穌的阻隔,

2. 透過聖靈的工作, 安靜一刻, 省察自己, 之後祈禱:

This passage gives us two events when the Israelites sang songs after they experienced God's provision giving them a well full of water and then victory in a war. God's people sing songs when they experience the great power of God.

The song about the well would testify to God's provision regarding a need that often arose on the journey, not least earlier in this chapter. It would also testify to an Israelite claim to this land east of the Jordan: "We dug the well there." The Book of the Wars of the Lord" is referred to only here, though "The Lord's Wars" are mentioned later in the Old Testament. It was apparently a collection of celebratory songs relating God's victories over different peoples.
Another such victory follows as the Israelites reach Amorite territory, and the story incorporates another celebratory song that the Israelites evidently enjoyed hearing.

Do you know how important it is to sing songs to praise God? I know because this is one of my secret weapon to remove all my fear, doubt, insecurity, anger and everything blocking me from the presence of God the past thirty years.
Recently I got a new insight from Sabah that I noticed that the new Bishop of Sabah, Bishop Melter always sang songs during all kinds of occasion. Even during the time he was talking to me and when there was a kind of silence, he sang songs, humming a tune praising God. Wonderful and inspiring!
So, after my visit to Sabah two weeks ago I always sing songs whenever I have a chance. It is a new way of transformation to my life. Why don't you try that?
