Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Today's main passages:
35 I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:35
My Listening
I painfully confess my sins and repent today because lots of time my heart is divided! I cannot have an undivided heart to fear our Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him!
You? Divided heart? Undivided heart?
Praise and Thanksgiving

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's main passages:
Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
Today Jesus asked me through Psalm 86:11 and 1 Corinthians 7:35 a question I always neglect to ask myself:
Do you have a divided heart to me or an undivided heart to me?
This question leads me to a deeper level:
To have an undivided heart to Jesus is to fear Him, if we really fear Him, we have nothing to fear of!
To have an undivided heart to Jesus is not to have a divided heart serving other people and things and not able to undividedly serving Him!
You? Divided heart? Undivided heart?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to confess our sins and repent today because lots of time our hearts are divided! We cannot have an undivided heart to fear our Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message ?
2. What is your next step to have an undivided heart to fear our Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him?
