Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Today's main passage:
Psalm 87
Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.
1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion
more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion

3 Glorious things are said of you,
city of God:[a]
4 “I will record Rahab[b] and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush[c]—
and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”[d]
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
Today Jesus told me through Psalm 87:1-5:Hong Kong, city of God, He will establish! The city that today's Psalm pointing to is Jerusalem. But, those cities with the temples of God are also cities of God and He will certainly establish in His own way!
There were so many times that the city of God, Jerusalem was facing with total destruction, but because of God's people willing to confess their sins and repent, they fasted and prayed, God saved them!
King Hezekiah was surrounded by a vast army of Assyria and God sent an angel, in an overnight 185,000 Assyrian soldiers were being killed by that angel.
Queen Esther and all the Jews were facing with a genocide, but Esther fasted for three days with all Jews and Haman who plotted to kill them was being killed himself!
My catch of today is that if we can fast and pray for Hong Kong like how Hezekiah and Esther did, Hong Kong, city of God, He will establish!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to fast and pray for Hong Kong like Hezekiah and Esther that we can experience your coming to establish your city, Hong Kong. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message ?
2. What is your next step to fast and pray for Hong Kong like what Hezekiah and Esther did?
